Please note:

  • We deal directly with most medical aids for your convenience.
  • We charge the rates accepted by most medical aids.
  • There are certain treatment options that are not covered by medical aids.
  • Please check what your medical aid will pay for before entering into treatment.
  • Our accounts department can assist you to a certain extent, but the onus is on the person responsible for the account to follow up with their medical aid.
  • It is up to you to get authorisation from your medical aid and send it through to us before commencing with treatment.
  • Any short-payment by the medical aid will be payable by the person responsible for the account.
 

THE medical aid PROCEDURES are as follows (the most COMMON names are in Bold):

  • BANKMED - You will need to get authorisation from Bankmed before the start of your treatment. You’ll get paid out of Specialised Dentistry. For more information please contact enquiries@bankmed.co.za
     
  • BESTMED - You will need to get authorisation from Bestmed before the start of your treatment. You’ll get paid out of Dentistry. For more information please contact service@bestmed.co.za
     
  • CAMAF - Orthodontic treatment will get paid out of your available savings. Please contact Camaf to confirm the available funds in your savings account. Be sure to keep your reference number. For more information please contact custserv@camaf.co.za
     
  • COMMED - You will need to get authorisation from Bankmed before the start of your treatment. You’ll get paid out of Specialised Dentistry. For more information please contact info@allcare.co.za
     
  • DE BEERS - You will need to get authorisation from Bestmed before the start of your treatment. You’ll get paid out of Dentistry. For more information please contact benefitpost@dbbs.co.za / managedcare@dbbs.co.za
     
  • DISCOVERY - Orthodontic treatment will get paid out of your available savings. Please contact Discovery to confirm the available funds in your savings account. Be sure to keep your reference number. For more information please contact healthinfo@discovery.co.za
     
  • FEDHEALTH - You will need to get authorisation from FedHealth before the start of your treatment. You’ll get paid out of OHEB (Out of Hospital Benefits/Savings). For more information please contact fdhdentalfax@medscheme.co.za
     
  • GEMS - You will need to get authorisation from Gems before the start of your treatment. You’ll get paid out of Dentistry. For more information please contact enquiries@gems.gov.za
